COMPANY HISTORY
Hi-RES Group of Companies was established in 1989 as a computer
hardware and software marketing and distribution with office located at
24-2&3, Jalan 10/116B, Kuchai Entrepreneurs' Park, 58200 Kuala Lumpur.
Hi-RES started with only 2 staff but since then it has growth to 30
full-time employees. About one third of these staff are involved in
research & computer software development.
After two years of operation, with a well-organised set up and good
performance, Hi-RES managed to register with Treasury to participate in
government tender.
Since signing up as a licensed reseller, called "VARS" (Value
Added Reseller) with Caylx Software Ltd., HI-RES has been specialising in
computer hardware and software interfaces for the system integration of
computers, telecommunications equipment such as the PABX. In the later
year, HI-RES also sign-up with United Victory Industries Co. Ltd. Taiwan,
as a distributor for Automatic Storage & Retrieval System. Hi-RES also
marketing other unique Caylx applications which includes a complimentary
suite of document imaging products, general business (financial packages),
manufacturing, construction, advertising, hospitality, human resource
management, warehousing software and others.
Hi-RES has had wide exposure in system consulting, installation and
training support for small, mid-size and large companies which operates on
a wide range of micro and mini computers in stand alone and network
environment.
